Paige Jerit, a fourth grade student at St. Agnes Academy, was the grand prize winner of a poster contest sponsored by Campaign Nonviolence Memphis. Students were asked to submit a peace themed poster to commemorate the UN International Day of Peace on Sept. 21. Paige's entry was captioned, "One action can change everything." Presenting the $100 cash reward was Catholic Schools Superintendent Janet Donato (left) and Terry Hash of Pax Christi Memphis.

Amy Pyrdom won $10 and two passes to the Memphis Zoo for her poster entry. Pictured presented

Our Lady of Sorrows art instructor Nicole Rogers is pictured with winners Nayeli Villanueva, Misael Gonzalez,
Hannah Russell and Emily Roque. Nayeli was the 2nd place winner overall, and received $50 cash and two $25 gift cards.
OLS had more entries than any other school in the Diocese of Memphis.
